LAURA A. DAVIS ESQ. NAMED 2009 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR BY THE MONTEREY PENINSULA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MONTEREY, CA (March 1, 2010)

The Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce announced that Laura A. Davis, Owner of Laura A. Davis Law Office, at 200 Camino Aguajito, Suite 200, in Monterey, was named the 2009 Volunteer of the Year on Saturday at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner.

Davis was selected from 9 finalists for her extraordinary contribution of legal advice and counsel to the Chamber during its transition to its new headquarters, and for hosting the Chamber’s monthly “Your Town Radio and Television Program” which on KNRY AM 1240, Cable Channel 24 and www.ampmedia.org. The award is given each year to an individual previously honored as a Volunteer of the Month for their work and dedication to the Chamber. Davis was the March 2009 Volunteer of the month for the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce.

Davis was appointed to the Chamber’s Board of Directors in October, 2009, and now serves as Co-Chair of the Education Committee in charge of professional/workplace development programming.

In her law practice, Davis focuses on estate planning, business organizations, and related contract and tax matters.

The Chamber extends a hand of gratitude to Davis for her support. She is a valued member who shares her expertise to further the success and growth of the business within the Monterey Peninsula.
